27 December 2003
hope your christmas was pleasant. and may you have a happy new year. until then, watch. [02:01] 15 December 2003 baby it's cold outside so it's the middle of december, only one week and a few days until christmas. things are going well with us. how are you? right now we're mixing a few of our songs without various elements (no drums, no vocals, maybe mute a guitar line here or there) to create tracks to back us up live. it should be fun getting things in order (at least it has been so far--minus the digital noise on the DAT appearing out of nowhere). so i've been feeling under-the-weather for some time now, although the medication's side affects have been less harsh lately. which is a good thing i might add. top five for 15 december 2003: 1. grand theft auto - vice city for xbox 2. tylenol gel caps 3. christmas (or is it birthday?) shopping for someone who's yet to be born 4. lungfish live - 06 december 5. trev pushing buttons and fading faders at the desk like a pro [21:51] 05 December 2003 it's been a long, long, long time. things are going well i guess. the air is cold and the month of december is moving along at a reasonable pace. needles & pills this week has been, for lack of a better word, exciting. i've started a new treatment to (hopefully) kill the virus (hepatitis c) that plagues my insides. i have no expectations and there are no guarantees that this will work, but i am eager to try. so once a week i'll give myself an injection of a nasty little drug called pegasys and chase it daily with a pill called ribavarin. needless to say there are side-affects to this combination and they've hit quite hard. to put it simply they are mostly flu-like reactions--nausea, fever, chills, etc. etc. and it's certainly not something i look forward to. on the plus side, the injection doesn't hurt as it did last time i was undergoing treatment. but i imagine in a few weeks i'll come to loath the process entirely.
