things are going well with us. how are you?
in a cold, cold room
last tuesday we gave a shot at recording some of our songs by running the tracks, vocals and some room mics through a little mixer straight to a MD recorder.
thankfully, things sound like we're actually going somewhere with this. the older songs sound pretty good and "bad blood" seems close to be being completely written. we also came up with a couple of other parts and maybe one day those will become songs of their own.
but until then no one will really know and i'm not making any predictions.

03 January 2004 two thousand and four
so it's a new year. time has flown by and i can't believe that another year is already gone. as i look back over the last twenty-three years of my existence and begin the twenty-fourth year there's much to be thankful for.
trev and i have been keeping busy in the rehearsal studio and things are sounding quite good. most of the old songs are taking on new life and telling us if re-arrangement is in order, or if the song should simply be laid to rest. it's interesting actually giving a go at playing these songs live, as until now we've only played four of them in a live setting--and that was over three years ago.
the new songs are shaping up nicely and we've got a new one almost done called "bad blood"
i'll be sure and keep you posted on our progress.
